I can’t find a design I like on your site, have you anything else?

Don’t worry, we’re not offended. Taste and styles vary and we here at Print Ready know this all too well. So what next? You have two options. One, simply call into our print stop on Glasnevin Avenue in Finglas on the north side of Dublin (only 20 minutes from Dublin City Centre) and you can discuss in person your requirements with one of our skilled graphic designers. Or two, do a quick google to find something you like and email us a screengrab or a link and in all likelihood, we will be able to recreate a version of it.

I want something that’s really wow and high end, can you do this?

Yes. We have printed invitations that are gold foiled and gold blocked, embossed, screen printed, die-cut, laser-cut and round cornered. We have printed on premium high grade 400gm, 500gm and 600gm boards from leading mills such as G.F. Smith and Fabriano. We can print on plastic, wood and fabric. We have produced labour intensive designs that stunned and wowed hundreds of guests.

I can see a 40th birthday invitation that I like but need it to say 60th? Can this be done?

Of course. Simply order the design style you like while adding in the notes section any changes you want to make and we can take it from there. Whether it’s an 18th birthday, 21st birthday, 30th birthday, 40th birthday, 50th birthday, 60th birthday, 70th birthday, 80th birthday, 90th birthday, 100th birthday, 110th birthday, 120th birthday… ok, maybe we’re pushing it a bit. Whatever the age, whatever the celebration, we can create a custom designed fully personalised birthday invitation for you.

I have old photos that I want to use on the invite. Can I?

You bet. You just need to get them to us. Simply scan and email them to us, photograph and share them with us, or package and post them to us. Send them in the most convenient way that suits you. If you post them, please ensure you include your name, address, phone and order number with them. If you photograph them, be sure to take the photo overhead in a well lit room and on a flat surface.

Do they come with envelopes?

They sure do. One envelope per invite (plus a few overs should you make a mistake). Our envelopes are brilliant white.

I need invitations in a hurry. Can you help?

We can. Best to call our store in Glasnevin, Dublin to discuss your tight turnaround.

Can I write the persons name on it?

Of course. If the invite design you like does not have a space to write the guests name on it, simply let us know that you would like this included and we will edit the invitation design to suit your needs.

Can I see the design before you print it?

Yes, we insist on it. All invitation designs will be emailed to you for you to proof, pass and digitally sign off on. Some small print here… we do require that you spell check all text and numbers, this is your responsibility. Names, places, numbers can be incorrect and you are best placed to spot any errors and omissions. So please check thoroughly.

Top Tips

Registration
Registration means that your front backs up correctly with the back of your printed job. In order to ensure your order holds registration, be sure to include cut and crop marks in your artwork.
Vectors and Rasters
Raster files are like photos. Vector files are like logos. Vectors can scale up without loosing any resolution. If using vector graphics, be sure to outline and expand all vectors before saving.

Top Tips

Proof Reading
The best tip we can give you is to proof read thoroughly. Check, check and then check again. If you have access to a printer, we suggest printing out your design so you can proof read from a hard copy.
Font
Ensure all fonts are embedded into your document for accurate printing. Also, check your preview carefully to ensure all text is visible and accurate.

Frequently Asked Question

What kind of a design can be printed on the beer mats?2024-10-29T18:51:53+00:00

Our custom beer mats can be used within a restaurant, bar, or professional setting, but that’s not all they can be used for. The beer mats we create are perfect for any party or event you are throwing, either professionally or in a domestic setting. We do have more robust beer mats for professional settings though.

What is the difference between a beer mat and a coaster?2024-10-29T18:50:28+00:00

Generally, beer mats are more likely to have a sponsor or message as an advertising vehicle within hospitality settings, whilst coasters are often more decorative pieces, where there are custom pieces made. In practice, the two are created in the same way, are made of similar materials and are the same shape and have the same dimensions. There is also a cultural difference, in that you’ll find beer mats used as a term more commonly in the UK, whilst coaster is the term used in the USA.

Can the personalised beer mats also be used at parties or other events?2024-10-29T19:20:35+00:00

You can make your own custom beer mats and coasters, adding your own personalised text, photos, and designs. Our team will always perform an artwork check to make sure that your designs are print ready before they are printed onto the beer mats. This offers great versatility for a range of professional settings and advertising opportunities.

Can my beer mats be double-sided2024-10-29T19:21:36+00:00

Beer mats are commonly printed to be double-sided, whereas coasters are usually designed to have one side with a design and one side without. We would always recommend you print beer mats double-sided, ensuring that the artwork and message is always on display no matter which way up the beer mat is placed.

Are your Beer Mats absorbent?2024-10-29T19:23:02+00:00

Our promotional beer mats are designed to be robust in environments where they come under heavy use. A good beer mat must always be heat resistant, have hygienic properties, absorbent and able to soak up any spills around a table. All of this must be achieved without the beer mats being brittle and easily damaged.
