Corriboard signs, commonly known as plastic outdoor signs are made from a fluted polypropylene plastic and come in 8ft x 4ft sheets but can be cut to any custom size.

What’s the difference between corriboard and laminated corriboard?

The most cost efficient signage solution you can choose is unlaminated corriboard. We can print directly onto the corriboard itself using our flatbed printers. These plastic signs are most suitable for short life events and temporary display solutions. Over time, if left outdoors, the sun, the rain and the wind will fade and discolour the corriboard.

If you want to use your corriboard again in the future, specifically with a view to using them outdoors, then you should choose our laminated corriboard. With this product, we print your graphics onto a premium adhesive high grade vinyl and apply it to the corriboard sheet before laminating. This is a fantastic low cost sign printing solution that will stand the test of time. We have corriboard signs outside our branch on Glasnevin Avenue in Finglas, Dublin which are close to 10 years old and they have not faded or discoloured one bit. If you are looking for plastic signs outdoors, we strongly recommend laminating your corriboard sign.

I am located outside of Dublin, do you ship your corriboard across Ireland?

All our corriboards are printed in Dublin but can be shipped anywhere across the island of Ireland, both north and south.

I am looking for sign printing but I don’t not have a file or know how to fill the sheet?

No problem. We can design all your various sized signs and can plan and impose the full 8x4ft sheet so you get value for money.

How do I hang or display them?

Some of the most common ways of hanging or affixing corriboard signs is by use of cable ties or screws and washers. You can drill or puncture a hole in the plastic sign easily for cables ties or gently drive a screw through them into a predilled hole or wodden façade.

How long do you corribard signs last?

We have known some of our outdoor plastic signs to last for over 10 years without fading. This will be subject to where the sign is positioned in terms or direct sunlight.

Registration
Registration means that your front backs up correctly with the back of your printed job. In order to ensure your order holds registration, be sure to include cut and crop marks in your artwork.
Vectors and Rasters
Raster files are like photos. Vector files are like logos. Vectors can scale up without loosing any resolution. If using vector graphics, be sure to outline and expand all vectors before saving.

Top Tips

Proof Reading
The best tip we can give you is to proof read thoroughly. Check, check and then check again. If you have access to a printer, we suggest printing out your design so you can proof read from a hard copy.
Font
Ensure all fonts are embedded into your document for accurate printing. Also, check your preview carefully to ensure all text is visible and accurate.
