How much does it cost to put a picture onto a canvas print?
This depends on the size of the canvas print you want. The price is determined by the size rather than what you print onto it. We can print anything from a cheap small canvas print to a large personalised canvas print.
I’m looking for a cheap canvas print but dont want it to look cheap?
Not a problem. While our prices may be cheap, our canvas prints are not. We use high quality material printed on state of the art machines and finished by trained and talented craftsmen. Can I order canvas prints online through your website?
Absolutely. You can order and buy canvas prints online. You have the option of buying canvas prints online via our shop or if you prefer, simply email us about your canvas print and we will send you a price and a proof.
Are canvas prints worth it?

Can I wrap the edge of my photo around the edge of the canvas print?
Yes. This is the standard way of manufacturing a canvas print. The image you send us with have the edges of the image stretched and wrapped around the sides of the wood framed canvas print. This creats a lovely three dimensional fee to you canvas print.
What are your framed canvas prints made of?
We print onto premium photographic cotton canvas and stretch it around pine stretcher bars. They are finished with staples and braced with cross bars on our large canvas prints. Our small canvas prints so not require cross bars.
Can I use photos from my mobile phone to order canvas prints online?
Absolutely. Phone images these days are of great quality. However we would advise that you send us the original phone image from the phone rather than an image that has been put through a social media app like Whats App or Facebook or Twitter.
I have an image that is portrait but I want to turn it into a landscape canvas print. Can this be done?
Usually, yes. To change the orientation without stretch the image would require cropping (cutting off the top and bottom of the image). If you picture doesnt lend itself to this, we could create a blurred background image behinf the image to fill the space and make it look good.
Can you remove red eyes from photos before printing a personalised canvas print?
You bet!

Yes, not a problem. You can collect your canvas print in Dublin from our store on Glasnevin Avenue or if you wish we can ship youre canvas print across Ireland.
Is my file good enought to print onto a large canvas print?
This is the most frequently asked question we get – “Is my file good enough to print?”. If you have any concerns about the quality of your image, simply email it to us prior to orderer and one of our designers will advise you on the quality and can an appropriate size, be it a small canvas print or a large canvas print.
Where you are sending from a smartphone like a Samsung or iPhone, please do make sure to send the image at ACTUAL or ORIGINAL SIZE and don’t compress it or make it smaller.
- Where possible, avoid Facebook, Whatsapp images and try to source the original image.
- If you are scanning an actual photo, make sure to scan at 400dpi at the orignal size.
Tips for choosing a good picture to turn into a canvas print….
Choose an image which has plenty of space around the main subject matter, in particular a person’s head. Remember that an inch and a half from each side of the image is wrapped around the wooden frame on every canvas print.
Make sure to use high resolution images if you are printing a large canvas print, 300dpi or higher.
Avoid Facebook or WhatsApp pics for large canvas prints. Consider instead printing smaller canvas prints or arranging them into one big mosaic or collage canvas print. Or for some low resolution social media images, you could opt for a cheap small canvas print.

Registration means that your front backs up correctly with the back of your printed job. In order to ensure your order holds registration, be sure to include cut and crop marks in your artwork.
Raster files are like photos. Vector files are like logos. Vectors can scale up without loosing any resolution. If using vector graphics, be sure to outline and expand all vectors before saving.
Top Tips
The best tip we can give you is to proof read thoroughly. Check, check and then check again. If you have access to a printer, we suggest printing out your design so you can proof read from a hard copy.
Ensure all fonts are embedded into your document for accurate printing. Also, check your preview carefully to ensure all text is visible and accurate.
