School Christmas cards are a popular way for PTAs to raise much needed funds, and a great chance for children to get creative. We know Christmas is hectic in every school, so we keep the process as simple as possible. We send you everything you need and we don't ask you to reformat anything.

How School Christmas Cards Work
- Register: fill in the short form on schoolcards.ie, or just ring us on (01) 858 1000 and we'll do it with you.
- Pupil list: send us your list of pupils on our simple spreadsheet. We'll look after the rest.
- Artwork: we send a drawing template for each child, with spares for any mishaps. The children draw their own Christmas scene. A snowscape, a prancing reindeer, the school decked out for Christmas. Let them go wild.
- Drawings back to us: post or drop the finished drawings to us in Glasnevin.
- Samples and order forms: we print a sample card for every child, with an order form showing a preview of their own card. The children keep their sample and there's no pressure on any family to buy.
- Orders: parents order and pay the school, in class or through an online portal such as Aladdin. You send us the totals.
- Print and delivery: we print, pack and deliver. Your cards arrive ready to hand out, packed by class with the teacher's name on each bundle.
Colouring-In Pages for Every School
Prefer ready-made to freehand? We offer Christmas colouring-in pages as standard for junior and senior infants. Download and print as many as you need. There are pages in English (a Santa face and reindeer with a Christmas tree), as Gaeilge for Gaelscoileanna (Nollaig Shona), and a Winter Celebration and Winter Solstice page for non-denominational schools, so every child has something to colour.

We print over the Halloween mid-term break, so your cards are with you in plenty of time for Christmas posting.
- Now: register and send us your pupil list
- The children draw, and the drawings come back to us
- Samples and order forms are with you shortly after we receive your drawings
- Friday 23 October: orders in with us
- Mid-term break, 26 to 30 October: we print and pack
- Delivery to your school: the 3rd to 4th week of November

What is Included in Each Pack of School Christmas Cards
- Square card: 10 cards per pack, 150mm x 150mm when folded
- Premium 300gsm extra smooth board: silk finish on the outside, uncoated inside. The uncoated inside is ideal for writing on, and the silk outside makes colourful drawings pop.
- The school's name and crest printed on the back of each card
- 10 matching white envelopes in every pack
- Each pack holds just the card that child designed
Winter Celebration Cards for Every School
Every school is different, so our cards are too. For multi-denominational schools and schools with no religious ethos, we can do Winter Celebration cards with a message that suits everyone. For Gaelscoileanna we can do the text in Irish, so your cards fit your school perfectly. Just tell us when you register. The same message goes inside every card in your school.
Pricing and How Much Your School Raises
€6 per pack of 10 cards, VAT included (€4.88 ex VAT).
Minimum order is 50 packs per school. Delivery is €7 per box.
We suggest schools sell each pack for €10 to €12, though you can charge what you like.
Example: 100 packs at €6 costs €600. Sold at €10 to €12, that brings in €1,000 to €1,200, so your school raises €400 to €600 (delivery extra).
Prices include VAT at 23%.

No Upfront Costs
You don't have to outlay a cent. You pay after your cards arrive, in one payment, using the money you've collected from parents. You only pay for what was ordered.

Is there an upfront cost?
No. You pay after your cards arrive, and only for what was ordered.
What is the minimum order?
50 packs of 10 cards per school.
What is the deadline?
For printing over the Halloween break, we need your orders by Friday 23 October. Registration never closes though, so if you're later than that just ring us on (01) 858 1000 and we'll do our best to fit you in.
How long does it all take?
Once we have your drawings, your samples and order forms follow shortly after. Orders in by 23 October are printed over the mid-term break and delivered in the 3rd to 4th week of November. See the timeline above.
Can the text be in Irish?
Yes. We can do the text inside in Irish for Gaelscoileanna, or in any language you like. The same text goes inside every card in your school.
We're multi-denominational, or have no religious ethos. Do you have a suitable card?
Yes. Ask us about our Winter Celebration cards, made for schools of all beliefs and none.
Can clubs and groups take part, not just schools?
Yes. Give us a call and we'll talk you through it.
What should the children draw with?
Anything flat and colourful works well: felt tips, pencils, crayons or paint pens. Keep inside the drawing area on the template, as anything outside it won't print. The silk outside of our card makes colourful drawings pop, and the uncoated inside is ideal for writing on.
Do the children get a sample?
Yes. Every child gets a printed sample of their own card to keep, with no pressure on any family to buy.
Can parents order extra packs?
Yes, parents can order as many packs as they like.
What does delivery cost?
€7 per box, delivered to your school.
Do we need to reformat our pupil list or drawings?
No. We don't ask you to reformat anything. Send what you have and we'll sort it.
Do the children get the card they drew?
Yes. Each pack holds only the card that child designed.
