Beermats as a Cost-Effective Marketing Tool

13 Apr, 2026

Beermats make for an incredibly effective marketing tool that can directly communicate your message to your target audience. They are always being used, played with, written on, and mulled over. Your customer may be sitting relaxed with friends or colleagues, with your message right there in front of them.

There are many different ways beermats can be used to promote your message, and not just in a pub or bar. Here are 7 ways beermats can be utilised as a business tool.

1. Interactive beermats

Adding games, puzzles, or competitions to a beermat is a great way to increase engagement and brand loyalty. Mazes, quizzes, and conversation starters can all encourage customers to interact with your message.

2. Marketing beermats

Beermats are a subtle but effective promotional tool. They remain visible throughout the customer experience without being intrusive.

3. Feedback beermats

Beermats can also be used to collect customer feedback, encouraging users to scan QR codes or visit your website and social channels.

4. Promotional beermats

Turn a beermat into a promotional giveaway for events, corporate campaigns, or trade shows.

5. Business beermats

Beermats can replace traditional business cards with a more engaging format including logo, contact details, and branding.

6. Collectable beermats

Limited edition designs or series-based beermats can create collectability and ongoing engagement with your brand.

7. Event beermats

Beermats can promote events in a way that feels useful and keeps your message in front of customers longer than a standard flyer.

Why Beermats Work

Beermats raise awareness, encourage interaction, and provide a practical way for your brand to stand out in social environments.
