What’s the difference between the sizes?
We have 6 different size options.
Flat – This is one third of an A4 page. It is long and slender and would suit a small list style menu. Perfect for any street-food business, daily specials, or a drinks menu.
Small – When opened out flat, this is A5 in size (half an A4 page). It is small and neat. Perhaps best suited for a beautician, nail bar or hair salon.
Small Oversized – Slightly bigger than small. When opened flat, it is two thirds of an A4 fools cap page. When folded, it folds down to DL size. Also suitable for a small to medium size menu. Sandwich bar, café or pub.
Medium – When opened flat, it is A4 in size. It can be folded in half or in thirds (DL). Suitable for a restaurant or takeaway with a medium to large amount of meals or products.
Medium Oversized – Size is 210x396mm. Imagine an A4 fools cap page plus an extra flat panel stuck onto the side. This size folds down beautifully to an eight page/panel flat menu. Very suitable for takeaway menus.
Large – This is an A3 page (297×420). Imagine two A4 fools caps side by side. This can be folded down to four, six or eight panels. Most suitable for a takeaway, pizzeria, restaurant or any business with an extensive product range.
What’s the difference between the weights?
130gm gloss is slightly lighter than 170gm gloss. If you are on a budget, 130gm is perfectly adequate and very common for takeaway menus. If you want to give the impression of quality, then make your menu stand out from all other menus by printing it on 170gm gloss.
Can I put a coupon or voucher on my menu?
Of course. Just let our design team know and we will take care of that for you.
All I have is a hand written list of our meals – can you work from that?
Absolutely. Simply give our designers the bare bones of your menu and we will add the bells and whistles. Our designers are well versed in the design and layout of printed takeaway menus and will be sure to delight.
I know what I want but I would need to talk with somebody in person?
Sometimes projects can only happen from a face-to-face meeting. Communicating ideas can be difficult but you’re in the best of hands with our designers at Print Ready. Simply pick up the phone or better yet, drop in to our branch at 275 Glasnevin Avenue, Finglas, Dublin 11 and a member of Print Ready will be on hand to discuss and troubleshoot your printed menu needs.
How long does it normally take before I have them?
Design can take one to two days depending on the number of revisions. Once approved, allow up to five days before your beautifully printed flyers arrive at your doorstep or are ready for collection.
